Reveal the Shield Deluxe Wave 1 and Legends Wave 2 Sighted in Canadian Retail
 

After last weeks startling release of Reveal the Shield deluxe wave 2 before wave 1, many questioned whether or not Canada would be seeing a release of the first wave at all. Well quit your now pointless worrying because saskillings has sighted wave 1 at an Ontario Wal-mart!

This wave contains Special Ops Jazz, Turbo Tracks, Fallback, and Mindset.

Also included in this sighting was the second wave of Reveal the Shield legends class figures, containing Prowl and Trailbreaker (*cough Trailcutter)!

I just picked up jazz and tracks at Big B comics for 19 each....
oh well...I have them now anyways...that's all that matters in the end.

Still...I'm more then certain the rest of Canada get what Ontario gets 9/10 times...the ones that I think suffer the most are the Maritimes, BC usually gets everything we get so still, no reason to worry.

You got that right ! Our sightings is so messed up around here, it's an outright disgrace when I walk up to the TF aisle and see nothing but empty pegs for months after their release elsewhere. And with no TRU locally, the odds are even worse :doh:

I always say I'm going to just order waves online, but sometimes a guy doesn't have $100 to spend, so it's nice to be able to walk into a store and pick up just a couple at a time, especially when they're on sale.

I second this part, and not just for toys where I am. But books, crafting stuff.. almost anything but games since we got an EB here. But they have their own quirks :banghead:

my advice to you would be to try to find a friend locally to split cases with, save you some cash and get the ones you want, sell off the rest

Better make sure you check each one. I found a lot that had bad paint jobs.

Good idea, except I haven't met another local collector except for Autobotmech, who is 500 kms away, so added shipping costs would easily eat up the savings. Perhaps I should pm some of the locals on here and see if they're interested, all 3 of us :D

never understood the distribution system in this country... it comes in by boat, in Vancouver, gets loaded on a train and sent to Ontario somewhere, only to get loaded on another train or a truck and sent back where it just came from... so much time and energy could be saved if the sorting warehouse was in vancouver and sent out from there

i have done it recently, the savings were big enough to eat another set of shipping charges:
2 cases $100 a piece= 200 for 16 bots,
shipping $44 for all of it so 122 a each for 8 bots
15.25 all in per bot, with the extra shipping 16.50 at the most if one person pays the extra shipping, less if you both split it as well. hope this helps, comes out just under retail without tax if you are paying the extra shipping,

I know dude, I have seen few Blurrs with stellar paint. In fact, my Blurr is the best parts from two Blurrs put together.
