Transformers Artist James Raiz to attend TFcon Toronto 2016
 

TFcon is pleased to announce that Transformers comic book artist James Raiz will be a guest at TFcon Toronto 2016. James is known to fans for his work as the initial penciller on Dreamwave’s Transformers Armada, as well a cover artist for IDW’s Transformers: Reign of Starscream, Beast Wars, Transformers: Infiltration, various Spotlights and most recently penciled Transformers: More than Meets the Eye #22 – Dark Cybertron. He will be selling prints and offering commissions to attendees all weekend long.

Advance tickets for TFcon Toronto 2016 are now on sale. You can reserve your chance to meet Frank Welker at this time.

TFcon Toronto 2016 will take place July 15-17 at the Hilton Mississauga/Meadowvale with special guests FRANK WELKER the voice of G1 Megatron, DAN GILVEZAN the voice of G1 Bumblebee, IAN JAMES CORLETT the voice of Cheetor in Beast Wars and Transformers artists Alex Milne, Brendan Cahill and Sara Pitre-Durocher with many more to be announced. James Raiz is a super-talented artist and a nice guy too.

To debut for sale at last year's TFCon, he made a pair of Gi Joe & Autobots vs Cobra & Decepticons prints, and fans were able to vote for characters on, uh, another website... with a similar name but spelled differently, and with a dotcom. Please don't ban me, I tried to be vague!

He has a youtube channel too on which he posts videos of himself drawing. Here's some time-lapsed vids of both pieces (vids for each character are available too). Watching these prints being drawn sealed the deal for me, and I had to meet him and pick them up.
