Thanks to Cybertron.ca member canprime for letting us know that Transformers G1 Reissue (Magenta) Hot Rod has been released in Canada.

The sighting was made at a Walmart in Ontario.

My friend found one on Clearance at his Local Walmart in Ontario. I have a feeling that it was an online order return or something 🤔

With the possible exception of Soundwave & his minions very other G1 reissue ended up on clearance. Loads of Hot Rod.

Beast Wars, same thing.

I just don't see this fairing well for Walmart.

Don't get me wrong, I love them. Would love to see more of them. But they have not faired well at retail.

The question here is, did anyone get one? This was a pic taken by one of my friends. He hates Hot Rod because he believes Hot Rod was responsible for the DEATH of Optimus Prime so he took a picture and left. I went to the Walmart after work just to be too late. Hot Rod has went home with someone else. He should be released January 2023 for about $47.97 each

Last time Walmart sold g1 hotrod, I picked one up :) two actually.

I'm looking forward to this but not at the full retail price. $25 and its an easy pick up. The box art is great and the colours are a nice variation.
