I think it's because Hotshot doesn't have a release date on the listing, same thing happened to me. Credit card worked though.

It usually happens when a lot of people are trying to pay at the same time. When the site is being overloaded with orders, the payment systems can glitch out (not showing up, fairling to process, etc...).

Pretty sure it's not about whether there's a release date attached. Particularly with PayPal, since PayPal takes the payment immediately, as opposed to paying by credit card, which is charged at time of shipment.

Was just at Gamestop in Conestoga Mall Waterloo and they had 3 maybe 4 Gears sitting on the shelf

Called GameStop customer service line, to confirm what my Edge points situation is
I’m 3700/5000 currently gold 5%, where the 5000 is the benchmark to hit platinum 10%
The guy said it “won’t make any difference” come June, when he said the Edge program is going by the wayside
The suggestion was that any accrued Edge points will not transfer over in any way, to whatever replaces Edge

So . . . huh

I would assume the price you originally pre-ordered it for would be honored. If not, that would be pretty messed up.

In theory, online pre-order price should be honoured. In-store pre-orders without a deposit likely will not.
