Re: Real Life Transformers Moments
Closest I could think of is seeing real-life vehicles and objects that did happen to look just like the Transformers' alternate modes., or at least very close to them. I remember as a kid walking home from school and always seeing a big red van driving by around the exact same time every day. I kept calling it "Ironhide", even though it was a Toyota van rather than a Nissan (its shape looked close enough). And of course, old-style VW Beetles were everywhere, so we all called the yellow ones "Bumblebee" every time.
Years later, when I got a microcassette recorder for the first time, I nicknamed it "Soundwave" even though it was black, not blue. As for my digital camera, I've named it "Reflector". BIG shocker.
