Cineplex listing for 1986 Transformers the Movie
 

I dunno if anyone else noticed this on the Cineplex site. I know they will be playing Transformers the Movie 1986 in the States in September and there were no listings in Canada unfortunately.
Usually because there are a lot of other random movies listed on the Cineplex site this could be just whatever. However, there is a release date of October 4, 2018.

Could it be? Could we be getting showings here as well? 🤔 *crossing fingers*

It says 1hr 40m for the duration, but the Movie is closer to 1h 20.

Looks suspicious.

in the states they were doing some promotional stuff, maybe they might do some here too. most likely not but never know.

Literally Laughed out loud when I read this!

Spoke to Square One Cineplex to ask if they were going to show it, but they said they won't know until a month before or possibly even a few weeks.

Listings are up!

Some lucky cities get showings on multiple days! I live in Edmonton... so I dont (as of yet) :(

Sweet! There's some Vancouver dates. I'm most likely going to the Oct 4th Thursday showing at the Park and Tilford theatre as I am at work during the times of all the other showings. Who else is going and what theatre? Maybe we could arrange a mini fan gathering and trade some toys before/after the show?

I completely agree, that's craZy!

As a life long downtown living Toronto resident who thinks it's the centre of the universe this hurts my big elitist ego.

That being said, it would be super fun to watch this on the big screen again, but this time be mentally & emotionally prepared for the trauma.

Pretty cool to see it on the big screen but my son wasn’t old enough yet to join me

We apparently have a couple showings at 1 of our 2 theatres. Oddly, it is at the smaller, older, crappier one and listed as reald 3d? Is this the 86 movie in 3d? This keeps getting weirder and weirder.

There is a showing in sept 29 in Regina according to the cineplex app. You can just search "the transformers" there

I went to that one, but I was hoping to see it on a bigger screen this time. I too wanted to take my son this time.
But I'm not driving to Barrie, Guelph, or Windsor to see it! The trip would take longer than the movie's running time!!

Here's a tip for those trying to use the link for showtimes - Don't use the drop down list @ the bottom of the page. Use the one closer to the top of the page on the right side. If you try to use the one @ the bottom it'll keep giving you an error when you switch the date.
