Any Vancouver gathering on July 4th?

It feels stupid going to the theatre alone; and it'll be nice to go with some fellow fans.

LOL, it will be weird if u go out with ppl u don't even know. I am going with my girlfriend though. :o

Actually, months later, I might leave Canada for years.
Just want to make some memory for the end of my 4-year-stay in Vancouver.
(Do I sound like a bald middle-aged homeless?)

It's in the middle of the week, so I really can't head over there from the island. :(

Doesn't Ages 3-and-Up have Transformers nights or somesuch? Maybe that'd be a good place to organize an opening-night shindig through. :D
