Transformers G1 to air daily on Teletoon Retro starting September 6th
 

Teletoon Retro has updated their online schedule to reflect that Transformers Generation 1 will start airing daily starting Monday, September 6th.

I apologize if this is a repost, but I didn't see it anywhere. Teletoon Retro will be airing Transformers everyday in the fall (10:30 Atlantic time), sandwiched in-between Thundercats and G.I. Joe. You can view the fall lineup here:

This is scheduled to begin next Monday (Sept. 6th).

Awesome! :D And to think, if I miss even one episode, I can just pull out my Matrix of Leadership collection and pop a disc into the DVD-Player. :D

That's cool to see that they're finally airing the 80's shows daily now. Hopefully it'll give me a better chance to catch them now.

Shame there doesn't seem to be much of anything in new programs...and, are they putting Batman: TAS in the 2AM spot only? Ouch...

Nope. If I had Teletoon Retro and and an old G1 ep came on I'd still watch it! :D

With dvds in general, I'm just too lazy to pull them out and hit play.

Don't know haven't seen season Three TF animated released on DVD yet or I would say yes

Despite the fact that I own the series on DVD it will still be nice to watch this on TV again.
It would be great if Teletoon retro could peper their advertisements with old toy commercials

Well,Retro had the rights to ReBoot,and as we know,all Mainframe products are now owned by Rainmaker.As well,since TeleToon is owned by Corus Entertainment,the same company that owns YTV,I don't think it would be a stretch for TeleToon Retro to air Beast Wars.However,I don't have knowledge of how stuff between YTV and TeleToon actually works.

Deals are worked out all the time. We did it with Futurama. BW is on a list of shows that may happen one day. Lots of 60's, 70's, 80's stuff is getting a focus now. 90's stuff will happen more as time passes.

Ya BW is too recent to be on Retro, i think it could be one of those shows we could see on late night YTV, late night YTV shows a poor these days...i loved it when they had Reboot on a few years ago.

But G1 on Retro is great news. cant wait to watch it.

It's not that recent. Beast wars will be about 15 years old next year. Reboot is only two years older (and ended in 2001) and has been on Teletoon Retro for quite a while now.

Indeed, it fantastic to see back G1 on TV, like they old day (the 80's)! For Beast Wars, time will tell.

Anything 10+years is legally considered Retro so if there are shows you want, speak up.

9:30 at night eastern time is cool. Be nice if they put it on a little earlier though. Oh well its still good!

I wonder if the G2 show will ever be aired again. Retro seems like a good place for it if it was going to happen.
