Am I just being paranoid?
 

Last Tuesday (the 7th), I bought a Kre-O Menasor set from a seller in China, Hong Kong technically, and the tracking number won't work.

Now I know that the tracking from China is spotty at best, I have bought from sellers from there before. It usually takes two or three days for anything to show up in their system.
The Sunday night before this I bought some replacement heel parts for my MP Rodimus from a seller in mainland China, and true to form, two or three days later the tracking number finally showed up in the system, and then in our system the next day. It got here yesterday.
But the other number isn't working at all. Not in the Chinese system, or in ours.

So I'm just wondering if I should contact the seller about this, or just wait longer, or what?

Or they chose the slowest route possible.

I bought Dr. Wu's "New Partners" heads for my exosuits and waited a month and a half with a tracking number.

The estimated delivery date is between April 22 and May 8. It's been suggested to me elsewhere that I should wait till the delivery date and if it still doesn't work, then say something.

But like Ironwave, I can't help but think that it's been a week. It should at least be in their system by now if not ours.

The 2 items I got from ebay from china one tracking # worked one didn't.
The last item I got was thru Amazon got here in 3 wks

What delivery were you quoted? Would not hurt to contact them. was it in stock?

If you used paypal your protected.

Did you get this off someone on eBay? That was the same estimate for the "New Partners" I got and it really took that long. Tracking didn't even update beyond "shipped" for the whole time I waited. But it arrived. So...I think you are out of luck. It's on its way...likely on the back of a large tortoise or in a sealed bottle bobbing in the ocean

just wait. i received mail from china sometimes in a few days and other times at max 2-3 weeks.

I've had tracked packages from China not show up in the system until after they've already left the country. I wouldn't worry about it just yet.

IF you have a tracking number, then it should be at the very least an indication they printed out a shipping label. But if it doesn't work even after a week, I'd be a little nervous.

I've had parcels from China take forever, but the tracking numbers always worked. I'd contact the seller and just say the tracking number isn't working. Don't accuse them of anything and be polite. See what happens and take your cues from their response.
