Transformers Siege Seekers 3 pack found at retail
 

Thanks to riderman and Soundwave Superior we have confirmation that the Siege Seekers three pack is now out at Toys R Us.

This set runs for $99.99 plus taxes, and features 3 Seekers, Acid Storm, Ion Storm and Nova Storm and resembles the original G1 cartoon palette swaps.

The SKU number for this item is 073876

Surprising it's $99.99. It's $79.99 US just like Siege Jetfire is so I thought for sure it would be $119.99
so at today's current TF prices it's not bad for 3 Voyagers.

I was just at TRU in Langley, BC and they don't have any and by their computer no stores in BC do at the moment, but they are in transit. I spent a good 15 minutes talking to the floor service rep about it and as super helpful as she was, there's no ETA on when they'll show up or how often they'll get a case of transformers with the rainmakers in it.



Unfortunately this creates 2 problems:


1) There's no pre-order, holds/raincheck, or online order setup in place to claim one when they come in. Complicating things is that there's not a set day/time for when they'll get shipments with Transformers in them. You basically just have to check the store constantly and hope that you luck out that they've opened the shipping box and found some.


2) Apparently they are going to be packed as just 2 to a case. So.... yeah. This is going to be super fun and not at all frustrating and infuriating as you try to fight off other collectors and random families that snag one off the shelf.

So just the usual problem that we have with buying Transformers at TRU, lol.

2 a case makes sense since that makes it 6 voyager toys per case. And I highly doubt families will be spending 100$ for 3 identical toys in different colours. TRU is the only place selling them in the country (unlike the refractor set) so they are getting all the inventory. You'll see it on the floor eventually.

I just picked up the only 2 sets at tru vic park.
My friend doesnt want so I have the second set up for grabs for whomever wants it.

Yes it is 2 per case. I got them in the box. They weren't on the shelf.

I'm in Scarborough / Toronto.

Let me know or they go back tomorrow and its luck of the draw at who gets it.

Never ever? Not with the CHUG seekers previously? =)

Much easier to swallow when the toys were 15 bucks a pop, granted. I had the seekers, the coneheads, Acid Storm at one point. All of the retail versions of the mold, none of the extensive botcon/fanclub/other.

I'm kind of glad they haven't done the Coneheads yet. I don't think the general look of the mold would work as well for them, even if they're ostensibly the same with different wings and head.
