Toy Fair is just around the corner ladies and gentlemen, but IGN has given us a first look at some of the most anticipated figures from this year’s Earthrise line! Wow, these are beautiful, can’t believe I actually have to get rid of Generations Arcee for this new one. This actually looks better than the Masterpiece.

Arcee crushes the MP for sure, and will be way more affordable
You just got to decide if you are over the partsforming, this is a bit more than Cliffjumper's

Sky Lynx, I am for sure in - I skipped Jetfire 'cause I like the Takara Legends one, and I don't need a MASSIVE Jetfire, even if it is to-scale - but Sky Lynx, now that's a fig that deserves to be big (CW one is now "cute" in comparison, and will probably stay a torso now)

I want all the Scorponok, hope he's more accessible than Siege Omega has been so far sales-wise (still haven't bit)

Yeah, seeing as how I have the T30 version, I really don't see the need to get this Arcee. I'd rather a little bit of back kibble than literally removing half her altmode to "transform" her.

Agreed. not even the front of the car becomes her chestpiece. It's a total shell pretender former. I'll wait to see a transformation review to pass final judgement though.
For me, generations is way better, even if most of the car folds up and becomes the backpack.
I'm not regretting massively overpaying for Generations Arcee five years ago.

SkyLynx, It'll have to be on mega sale for me to get that one. I rather like the CW version.

I was expecting to see them reveal the Quintesson this week.

Considering Siege and Earthrise seem so unappealing to me, Scorpy and Skylynx look fantastic. Arcee i'll buy as well but only because I think she looks good and I like more fembots..even if most are iterations of Arcee

I say buy Omega now before the price get inflated, unless you really want to gamble.

We have updated Springer, Magnus & Arcee with the G1 treatment. Hopefully Blurr, Blaster, Kup, Wheelie and Hot Rod is not far behind. I am greedy =P

Yes, but siege Springer and Magnus are awful and lousy.

Tr legends wheelie is note perfect. Wtf else do you want. Tr hot rod is VV good. Kup and blurr, sure.

A good rodimus is what is missing. The potp one is so puffy and weird.

I personally like the new Siege Springer and Magnus better. Don't get me wrong, I also have the IDW Magnus and the Generations Springer, but they just don't fit as well with other Siege/Classic figures.
As for Wheelie, I am hoping to see an up size version like the Earthrise Cliffjumper. They may as well improve and upsize all the minibots at this point, so we have more options to play around. If they have another announcement about another upsize Minibot, I am all in!

Partsformer Arcee seems like a step down from the version we got a few years ago, and I already have that one. Skylynx and Scorponok seem like decent representations of their characters, but they're also going to be huge and expensive. I kind of like Skylynx as a character but there's only so much money and shelf space I'm willing to devote to a secondary character from season 3, and The Rebirth was just crap.

Scorpy and Fasttrack are great.

Scorpy’s shield looks like it can be one of those ramp bots.

Can’t wait for the Black Zarak and Black Roritchi.

I want to like the new Earthrise line but I'm just not feeling them. Siege made me a collector again after 35 years but I really don't think I'll be picking any of the Earthrise up. I'll wait and see what else they announce later in the line I guess.

Yup, Quintesson is a must buy for me. (at press time of this post, he was not yet revealed)
At $40, it'll be cheaper than finding the impossible toys version. And this one spins the faces. Probably one of the only figures I'll get at retail this year. The Alicon looks pretty lame though, barely transforms, basically the gator head hangs on his back and you turn the figure around, lame.

Hoist is looking ok though. If he goes on sale, he's worth a pickup. Can't wait to see a Trailbreaker version of the mold.
