Ordering from the USA when they don't ship to Canada

I'm looking into services that will forward a package in which a US seller would not ship to Canada.

Example Walmart.com doesn't ship to Canada. Some conpanies will give u a US addy and forward the package.

I've seen services like reship.com and planetexpress.com

Anyone have any experience in using these types of services? Which would u recommend and why?

Cheers
Kev

I've used reship to get Neca SDCC exclusives from previous years. Neca didn't ship those to Canada so reship was my only option. It's not cheap though. I only do it if I'm desperate. Going though reship added an extra 50 or 60 bucks USD to my purchase. And that's not including the duties and taxes when it finally arrives.

So are you saying it's just better to pay ebay prices than use 1 of these services ? Just asking cuz there is something I'd like to get that is only available in the US.

It really depends on what you're getting and how much you're getting.

Mentioned it a month or two ago to a similar question, I've been using myUSaddress.ca

https://myusaddress.ca/

With that said, I was planning to drive across the border and pick up the goods in person from the Ogdensburg NY facility

With the current pandemic, the other option is they can "Push It North" where they take it through customs for you and ship to your Canadian address
But you got to declare how much the item(s) cost, and fees are looking steep, ($40 per package)-ish

It's an option though
