Looking for Robotech armour for a G1 Jetfire
 

I have 2 Jetfires, one naked one and one with armour. I would like to get some cool Robotech armour to put on the naked one. What do I need to look for? What size Veratech is G1 Jetfire? 1/60? Also does anyone know of a company that makes KO or at leasr reproduced armour that will fit? I don't want to spend a fortune on vintage.

Reprolabels has skullleader stickers for the generations sky fire you may want to see if they have t for the g1

You're looking for the 1/55 scale Robotech or Macross figures, made by Bandai or Takatoku. You can find them pretty easily, in various states of condition, but what you want is the super armour. The problem you will have is that most of the sets will come with the robot and the armour; I am not aware of the armour being sold frequently on its own. The armour, of course, like the Jetfire set, has its frailties.

You may be interested to know that there are KO versions of this toy, which are all plastic. It won't affect the armour (no metal content), of course. I do not have any information about the quality of the KO, so caveat emptor.
