A Good Editing Software

Hi,
I’m looking for video editing software, I need one for short term use, 1-2 projects, and any recommendations would be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: A Good Editing Software

Depending of your level of experience;

1) Windows Movie Maker. Yea it's pretty basic but very easy to use and gets the job done. Good for home videos or small projects for Youtube. Best part is that's it's free!

2) Sony Vegas Pro. Way more options and settings to play with. Good for more professional videos. Still easy to use if you have low experience of video editing. This is what I use and highly recommended.

3) Adobe Premiere. This is what most professionals use. Big learning curve however it's great if you figure it out (I never did, lol)

Good luck and have fun!

premier has filters too - u know how some movies have that tones or shades (colorized or blurry) etc - premier can do those

moviemaker i find is only good for cut and pasting things lol

i have only used those two but i would lean on premier - im assuming u know how to get this

also this video i think used a few filters, vignette and gaussian blurs

Thanks for the tips :D

I'm not looking to make a movie, 15 minute videos at most with simple shots. I always had problems using Moviemaker, it just feels cheap :/
