The velocitron packaging is small too. But boxing in alt mode makes my cold dead heart just a slight bit warmer.

Well, Hasbro usually wastes packaging by putting a small figure in massive box. This is actually a welcomed surprise. They should continue doing this if they want to actually save money and help the environment.

yep, mine came from an ebgames (gamestop? whatever) in Montreal.
