:highfive:

I have to agree... I was looking at them at TRU and they're sort of like TF Prime meets TF Animated. They just weren't grabbing my attention.
Maybe the kids will love 'em.

Hmmm thinking about it I'm pretty sure that police car one could strong arm me into buying her.

The Animated-like aesthetic is actually what appeals to me the most about the RID line so far. They're full of personality. I do find the mold quality a bit lacking, but maybe we'll see improvements as time goes on.

Steeljaw is pure fun in both modes and has an interesting transformation. Strongarm does a neat trick in having a powerful yet feminine robot mode, and a vehicle mode that is much bigger than you'd expect. I'm really won over.

I'd love to get Strongarm, both version and an extra legion for a custom!

I don't mind the look, its the higher price point that bugs me a little. If they had been the same price as the other deluxes I would have gotten Grimlock.

Agreed. WTH is up with a regular retail of $19.99??? They are smaller than Deluxes, simpler, the instructions are printed on the card and the packaging is smaller. How the funky monkey are these priced at twenty bucks? I was figuring $12 regular retail, maybe $10 on sale. This is stupid crazy.

I bought strongarm on sight. Sale price too, so only $15 after taxes. I'm on the fence about grimlock, but steeljaw is interesting...

New deluxe price point is US$17 stateside, so C$20 is pretty close. Others may sell for less, but TRU seems to be right in line with that.

BTW, wasn't Zellers trying to get $25 for deluxe figures at the end? And people complained about Target...

Anybody have the sku for the deluxes?

Re: Transformers Robots In Disguise Warrior & Legion Class Released in Canada

I saw them today at TRU and it seems that they are 4 per case and 1 each per case for the deluxes and they do look nice imo I did however decide to skip them as I got the CW stuff and I am saving them for later pick up so dry spell doesn't seem long. I do like the Steeljaw and Strongarm as well as Grimlock. BB is okay not as nice as I would like but I will still get it.

Man when you put Strongarm next to the Trailcutter mold, both in alt modes, she looks HUGE!

But I think Hoist weight more than her o.o

They are also the same height in robot mode!

Combiner War Dragstrip favorably compares in term of size.

Re: Transformers Robots In Disguise Warrior & Legion Class Released in Canada

@Undrave: Absolutely, the RID warriors are every bit as big as Generations deluxes, and Strongarm actually seems to get bigger in alt mode.

Dragstrip is another one whose alt mode ends up being surprisingly large and solid compared to other deluxes.

Dragstrip is so satisfying to transform, it's so retro with the big solid chunks and no stupid thin panels! And a lot of the hollowness is used very cleverly so it doesn't look terrible!

HOLY HELL! I couldn't believe the prices on the warriors when I saw them at Walmart, I had to scan them, $20 bucks is way too much. The Combiner wars aren't that much, and they're way better looking.

Did we get an official 'spotted' announcement for the one step changers? I saw Underbite at TRU yesterday.
