Canadian Slag Episode 6 - The Artists of TFcon

1 Attachment(s)
Time to talk about TFcon and what's on deck for this year! Duncan's on this weeks episode to let listeners know about the various contests, prizes, and fun we have in store this year. There's also talk about the guests we announced thus far, Transformers Animated lead designer Derrick Wyatt, and IDW's Transformers comic book artist Alex Milne, and what he has in store for the show this year. This show is gonna rock!

Re: Canadian Slag Episode 6 - The Artists of TFcon

In the first of our weekly episodes about TFcon we have Duncan on the show to talk about this years 3-D, 2-D, and costume contest. He'll also drop hints about what his figure will be in his very first customizing class and what he's got planned for his customizing panel. Alex Milne was supposed to join us on this episode but when we couldn't get his recording software to work properly we brought Mike back for additional commentary as he was the one responsible for getting Derrick Wyatt to TFcon this year and provides great commentary on other plans we got this year.

Glad I could help, though it's a shame it couldn't be under better circumstances. I hope Alex can come back to the show sometime in the near future.

Loved the Garry Chalk story and his mingling.

Reminded me of the Manitoba Comic Con 2007 when Dave Prowse(Darth Vader) at 72 years of age, cane helping support his bad hip and all, made his way around our entire convention, meeting and greeting with the artists and dealers.:)

Re: Canadian Slag Episode 6 - The Artists of TFcon

Is he 72 now?! No wonder he needed the cane though, he's got big boots to fill....literally....but very cool of him, I think that's what I love most about convention guests is when they're down to Earth and don't give off that "holier then thou" attitude which sucks.
