Thanks to board member mrluthor for letting us know Movie Masterpiece Bumblebee has been released at Canadian retail.
He retails for $129.95 + tax
SKU # 336642 for those curious.

I WAS interested in getting this, still kind of am. That price however is garbage and I've heard reports of him breaking or just not staying together, so unless that was just a few cases I'm staying away. So how much is Optimus going cost? $200 or more?

Just go inside. This is what they gave me tonight.
I checked with one of the staffers there. The buy two, get one free works with the MPMBB. Easy for three friends who want thos to go in on it and save a bit. |

I have him and he's great. Instructions, while in colour, are garbage. There are various tabs that lock things into place that the instructions don't mention, particularly the wheels by the feet and in the chest area. He's truly MP-level engineering. But use the $20 off coupon or wait for a sale. |

Price isn't terrible with the coupon(s).
TRU is a FANTASTIC option to get your MP's. You have a RETURN/EXCHANGE policy with TRU.
When I order from the Jap sites... IF there is an issue... well I can't just roll up to the next TRU and return or exchange... I gotta ship the son biatch to where?! |

Well I did it. I picked up 3 MPM Bumblebees and got the B2G1 deal with the coupon. $86 & change plus taxes after the coupon.
I took him out of the box, and he's just fun to look at in vehicle mode. Hood is a little finicky, but still sharp. Maybe I'll transform him tomorrow.

Amazing! I tried and tried. But couldn't find three. I get the feeling he's not going to be too available. Looked like 4 for each store with 300 left in the warehouse.
I only found a few paint problems, which is par for the Mp course. Worst part was on one of the little collar pieces, but on the side facing the head so you can't see it.
Get any comments from staff about the coupon? |

Gonna be pretty miffed if that's the only case the city gets, and half went to scalpers. What's the point of only bringing 4 figures to the city and leaving a bunch of frustrated customers?
Hope he shows up online, but man, it's sad when it's practically easier to order a domestic release from China than to pick it up from your local store. |

No real issues. Just had to run it by the manager.
I did however try to get the 15% price adjustment, but they said it wouldn't stack. Not a real loss though. |

When did that happen? Ive been living on the .ca and never saw it come available nor did I receive an email that it was in stock....

it became available around 7am of Saturday & lasted for an hour or less. When I checked around 8am, it isnt available anymore. |
