Thanks to board member Matrix Holder for letting us know that he found Wave One at Toys R Us in Ontario.

Wave One consists of:

Bumblebee with Stunting
Strongsville with Trick out

These 2-packs retail at Toys R Us for $32.99 + tax.

They've been available for $29.99 from Amazon.ca for a couple weeks now. They look overpriced for the size...

I've only seen three things from TR Wave 3 so far and now these things are coming back to clog shelf space? Give me a break.

What kills me is that these things are almost $35 plus tax, and are not bigger than the average deluxe. A whoppin' TWO points of articulation and a mini-con partner that makes G1 Broadside look complicated by comparison.

As an adult collector, I can't ever see a reason to buy these.

But, as a kid... 9 year old me would have went ape. I would have LOVED something like this. I used to take those little Star Trek cereal box toys and strap them to my G1s to give them extra "fire power". This is exactly what I was looking for as a kid, except I don't have to use rubber bands to get stuff to stay in place.

I may not like these now, but I could see kids with a healthy imagination really enjoying these.

That's way too much.

If they were cheaper, I could see the appeal but at that price you can get much bigger more worthwhile figures for $30 in Titans Return.
