Honestly, just looking for ER Prime (and Screamer).

So, I'm living in Markham, Ontario, but drive to Pickering on weekends.

I've got a somewhat weakened immune system, so I'm not confident enough to venture to a Walmart or Toys R Us to toy hunt, and from what I can tell, there's no online Canadian venues that have either of these people in stock, save for Amazon and Walmart resellers that are price-gouging, and American venues that have exchange rates and shipping to deal with.

So, if anyone locally is selling them, or willing to do a pickup for me, I'll gladly meet up and grab it (it's easy to disinfect a box). I'd be willing to throw in a bit of extra cash to a real-life person, instead of a reseller.

I'm mostly looking for Optimus, Screamer's a secondary priority, but still of interest.

Note 1: I'm a bit compulsive about figures having good paint apps (i.e. not sloppy or chipped), so were I picking these up in-store, I'd be hunting for the best one on the shelf

Note 2: If anyone actually does have a link to a Canadian vendor selling either for a good price, hook me up!

You’re not missing out on much, I’m afraid. I have 2 Walmart’s, 2 TRUs, and 1 EB local to me (in Barrie), and Ive only seen Prime twice and Starscream once. Stock right now seems to be exclusively Grapple and nothing else, lol. Hopefully you can find someone that can help you out though. Bigger city might equal better luck. Stay safe, friend, and good luck!

Oh, and check Walmart.ca. Looks like third party seller cmdstore is selling it through them for $86.19 at the moment. Bit of a markup, but not bad considering what they usually try to gouge collectors for.

Northmen collectibles has it for preorder for $80: https://northmencollectibles.ca/inde...1665l00-detail

Big Bad Toy Store has it for preorder for $55 USD: https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Produ...Details/103533

Honestly though, keep checking Walmart and EB Games. I've seen quite a few in Walmarts here in Alberta. It's a main line Hasbro figure, you will get it eventually (it really doesn't make sense spending more than retail).

Hi unfortunately I can't help you get the toys you're after but I'd like to offer you a tip wrt the above based on my own Earthrise Optimus experiences: check around the eyes for overspray and the eyes themselves for surface defect.

Also, someone suggested preordering with Northmen, my advice is don't. Not really the thread for it, but there is one if you care to use the search function.

I have a feeling this toy might get reissues and repaints aplenty, though, in case you don't catch him this time around.

cmdstore's website is also a Canadian-based option. $75 plus tax and shipping.

https://www.cmdstore.ca/products/tra...-optimus-prime

I have not dealt with them, myself. Pascal recently posted that he has dealt with them directly with no issues. They seem to have postings on Walmart and Amazon as a third party seller, but the markup is frequently high.

But, based on hearsay posts on these boards, it could be a better option than northmen.

Yeah, cmdstore is price gouging on Walmart at the moment.
