I have no feeling for this version at all, probably even at the original MP10 price (with normal inflation) I won't buy it.
Just look at the side, the size of the backpack! This is not Optimus V3, it's Dora in Optimus costume.....
It's really strange Takara tries to follow the G1 cartoon image 100%, but also give Optimus a huge backpack never in the cartoon.

Even without the backpack I don't like the look of this figure. The animation model was designed to be easy to draw first and foremost. The earlier versions of Masterpiece Optimus may not have looked identical to the on-screen depiction, but their added detail made them look better as toys.

Cartoon accurate front ,back,all around,,for this price point and the hype that's what's expected not prime setting out on a camping excursion...try again takara Hasbro better yet I look forward to a third/fourth party rendition they seem to be able to pull off the look ......

I've never been a big fan of 3p. To me, they're knock offs.

But if this kind of aesthetic and pricing are where hastak mps are going, I might just start to buy 3p.

I used to be a purest till Hasbro couldn't fill the card for figures mp or movie pieces it started for me with alien attack pieces .. deno and optimus and Wei Jiang primes then on to fans toys etc leaving holes in my mp collection to be filled before I am too old to care..plus in most cases better quality control and design/engineering..cartoon accuracy both bot and vehicle
