Amazon Japan has (briefly) added (then removed) its listing for the upcoming Masterpiece MP-41 Dinobot. We’ve got three alternate faces, the Golden Disc itself, and effect parts for Dinobot’s optic blasts, as well as his sword and spinning shield weapons which form his dinosaur mode tail. The robot and dinosaur mode are impressively detailed and accurate to the show, with a level of accuracy that » Continue Reading.

I'm in but damn, that price. Couldn't they knock about 5,000¥ off by not including the display stand?

I've really liked the Beast Wars Masterpiece figures so far and this looks to be great too! It probably helps I was a big fan of the show.

One cool thing is BW MPs are not too bad for scale with Generations or older Beast Wars figures so you can mix and match a bit easier than with G1 MP figures. I currently have Universe Dinobot on display, but he's on a bit on the small side (in dino mode it's not too bad).

The price is high, especially for a background I don't want, but I'm definitely going to have to get this guy.

I think going forward I'll only buy the BW MP figures with a few G1 exceptions if they ever come - Galvatron, Cyclonus, Scourge, and Springer.

Amiami has pre-orders for 21,340 JPY (About $240 CAD)

I just placed mine. Thing looks amazing. Glad it's not costing me $300+ tho

This price still confuses the heck out of me.

I'll wait on an HLJ preorder before I bite down on this. Albeit, I don't think it matters at this point cause I'm still going to pick him up lol.
