Thanks to cybertron.ca member Saundowaivu, we have learned that the G2 Superion box set has been sighted on shelves at ToysRus in Orleans, ON

The set is priced at $150cdn

Pricy. This is 100$ too high for what they are. Pass.

Small figures. Hollow parts. Transformers have become too expensive.

110% this, not to mention the colours on this look like shit like all the other G2 crap. Only decent G2 figure paint job they ever did was Jazz.

Considering before taxes alone four deluxes and a voyager at TRU ring up to 101$, 114 taking in to account the Legends figure, than yes, I'd say the 150$ price tag is way too high for a repaint of a figure you can still buy on the shelves for less in the original G1 paintjob.

Anyone else think that Hasbro might have over-estimated the appeal and/or nostalgia factor for the G2 toy line? Not to say there aren't fans out there, but that's a spicy meatball for a G2 redeco of a set that was priced at about $80-$90 in the G1 colors.

I'l buy two next January on clearance. Should be like $90 and $45 at that time.

The overcharging of the platinum line is a joke across the board.

Anyway, I am excited to pick this up and get a low price guarantee adjustment for 20-30% off. $120 ia dine, hopefully will end up around $100. Won't leave the box until then. But I love the g2 stuff and combiner wars. Air raid is awesome looking.
