Transformers Collectors Club Canadian Membership Rate Reduction

1 Attachment(s)
Good news for those of you that's been on the fence about joining the official Transformers Collectors Club. As part of the clubs membership drive they have reduced the cost of membership for Canadian residents. Previously $69, now only $58!

For joining the club you will get all the benefits of being a member including a club magazine every two months and the exclusive membership figure. Next years figure is Side Burn

For more information and how to join, visit the Transformers Collector's Club homepage

question about tfcc

just a quick question about tfcc,
they recently dropped the canadian price by $11 and was just curious if the price was inclusive? ie are there any extra charges like duty, customs or broker fees when it crosses the border?

any info appreciated

There's always customs fees when it comes to ordering stuff from their store.

However, there's no customs fees on top of the price that they list there, unless you're buying stuff off their store.

(Well, not sure about the freebie. I assume customs duties are included on it in the membership price, but not 100% sure. It would be stupid otherwise though)

Keep in mind that you will get bent over without lube by the HST now!

I cant see how they can charge customs fees on a free figure (I guess it depends on what they show the value is on the customs declaration) and there wouldnt be fees on the magazines. But anything you bought from their store would incur fees when it crosses the border.

I am quite pleased to see the price drop, it was the biggest deterant for me from joining the club, however since I really have no interest in the Sideburn figure, I think I'll pass this year. Maybe next year if that year's club figure is a good one.

there is no custom fee on the free figure. on the box they put the value of the figure at a dollar and it will also say "free sample"

has anybody who was already a member tried to get a refund?

Check it out, if you joined up before this announcement and would like to request a refund, please post your Name and User ID here.

I'll send one mass e-mail saying we all want a refund, and see what they do.
(though I already can guess the answer :(

Still too pricey for me to consider getting a membership. Maybe someday...
