Power of the Primes Wave 2 Deluxe Figures Released in Canadian Retail
 

Holy Good Friday!
Thanks to MECHADOOM we have a confirmed sighting of the second wave of Deluxe figures from Power of the Primes.

This latest wave of figures includes:
Moonracer
Sludge
Snarl
Black wing
& Rippersnapper

These figures were spotted in a Toronto area Walmart.

Burlington Walmart on brant has the deluxes and voyagers plus the helicopter for battle trap.
I grabbed the only moonracer.

These toys have only been released in a few areas. We got them on time, especially since these were meant to be on shelves in April (and late march, which is what happened here).

The US gets stuff early all the time, but then they always end up skipping the last waves. Most americans never saw TR windblade or twintwist in a store and are stuck going to e-bay. I preffer being in canada, where we get everything and at the time we are supposed to get it.

I dunno man, every time I have looked at Twitter, Instagram and the various Facebook groups, I have seen people with these for weeks or months by now. It all started with, I think, Singapore before the new year. You are right though, technically we are getting them on time. It just feels like the last since so many places had them so very early.

I cannot agree though about us getting everything, nor on time. At least not everywhere, around here, we never first nor last saw Voyager Brainstorm, Arcee, Chromia, or any of the last wave of Combiner Wars deluxes nor most recently Ramhorn. As for on time, I was nine months after release seeing Skywarp or Shrapnel, who showed up at Target of all places, it was another 2 months after that before they appeared anywhere else here. It still smarts missing Ramhorn, the ONE titan master I was actually in for.

I was only referring from when the prime wars trilogy started to now. We got the last wave of combiner wars. Maybe you did not, but they were found at toys are us.

I heard that about the cw last wave, but never did see them. Still....Ramhorn. I will admit though, distribution improved tremendously from the Generations line for sure.

Walmarts in Canada as well as TRU are slowly getting in the PotP Masters, Deluxes and Voyagers from Wave 2, hopefully they will have a larger release soon. They have popped up at a few stores recently but still hard to find. The Legends from Wave 2 have been seen in many stores since last week. Usually online they show up once they are more common to find in store...id say within a month they might show if the trickle of instore items becomes a flood.

Waiting for wave 2 to show up on Walmart.ca, Amazon.ca(A normal price) and TRU is starting to get to me....

Anyone have any leads on the Wave 2 showing up online soon?

Same as usual, I'm sure. They'll pop up out of nowhere, sell out immediately, get restocked two months later, sell out except for the two pegwarmers. lol

In a month we will all have the POTP Wave 2 figures we all want & wonder why Wave 3 isn’t here yet and why there are so many Wave 2 figures sitting around not being sold.

We’ll all get a clearer picture Toys R Us Canada by that time also. The new corporate masters would been revealed by than.

You know what's funny? Despite the fact that Wave 1 is very prevalent, the Legends class figures are a bit of a pain to find, especially Slash - or at least it seems to me.

You are right, haven’t seen Slash since the beginning of January, she’s elusive. Maybe ‘cause it is the first female Dinobot and I think is a very good Legends class figure.

All of the Legends class figures seem pretty good actually.

Slash and beachcomber is available on amazon and eBay for the sameness price as tru and wm

Anyone find it really odd that Amazon.ca and Walmart.ca still don't have POTP Wave 2 online yet?
(Yes Wave 2 is on Amazon, but through a third party and is wicked expensive)

They are not in full release yet, only have been found at a few stores. I think they will flood in stock once the summer restocks are in, then they will be online and more easily found.

For those looking for Slash and Beachcomber, they seem to be restocking them more frequently now at Walmarts ive seen in Ontario around the GTA.

You are absolutely right, they only matched whenever Toys R Us had a sale and even than it could have been a tedious & excruciatingly long process depending on which Wal*Mart personnel you were dealing with.

Although, they have clearance for the end of line figures like Overlord for $38 and the Titans Return Voyagers for $20.
