Thanks to multiple board members for sharing that they have found Titans Returns Wave 5 Deluxe figures out in the Canadian retail wilderness!

Wave 5 includes

Windblade
Misfire
Twin Twist
and a repack of W2 release, Weirdwolf.

Now about that Wolfwire reissue: is he an unchanged release or does he fix the QC problems the original assortments had? It seems likely given that CW Optimus and Motormaster had bad hips that were revised with later releases.

Really? I haven't seen wave 5 anything. Hell, outside of deluxes we really never saw wave 3 anything. We are hitting that last wave or 2 stride. Hit or miss if we will ever see any of these from Overlord down to Seaspray.

The hinge the cockpit cover is on comes with stress marks in many copies iirc. That part could eventually break (happened to mine).

i have that problem with my wolfwire, yellow part of the hinge around the pin is broken off, but still held together by the soft red cover part

Thankfully that's the case with my Wolfwire/Weirdwolf too. I prolly would be more concerned if it werent for that red part.

Haven't tested it too much but the new wolfwire cockpit issue seems resolved.

Opened closed number of times and no stress marks. Prior one I had stress marks after opening like 2 times.

Embossed number on back starts with a 7, I think prior ones had a 2.

it's the way toysrus.ca online stock system works, re-stocked items shows up, then pricing gets adjusted and become searchable the next day. sometimes you get luck with restocked items show up with previous sale price until it gets corrected.
