after finishing Optimus, I suggest to purchase a cheaper one for practice. The instructions do not take into account any kind of error. Folding and refolding damages even cause parts to fall off. It requires the most delicate touch. Which makes it quite challenging since it's super tiny.

For cylindrical parts the tool box would help greatly. His tiny smoke stacks will roll into shape then can easily be pulled out from a small nail.

I suggest for a lot parts to be assembled before folding (as much as you can of course). This eliminates folding and refolding.

Yeah. This type of project is a learn and feel as you go so again practice on a cheaper one first.

Other than that, this kit is pretty frustrating but rewarding in the end.

There is definitely a learning curve to making these. I've snapped a couple. But Damn they look good.

I got the soundwave model. Fun to put together. I recommend twisting the little pegs I stead of trying to fold them over. Pair of pliers was all I needed, and about 6-8 hours of time. The hand was very delicate and was the only crease to rip, so the gun hand is a little loose being held on by half the pegs. And it looks really cool too.

Put together OP, twistin the pegs is easier than folding. I only had one issue, the inner window piece seperated at the fold, It was pretty flimsy, and I may have bent it to many times or too rough with it. A small piece of tape is on the backof it now.

Other than that its a great model

man is that an understatement lol. A lot of patience is required with theses that is for sure. I got Megatron and required a small screw driver to wrap the fusion cannon and gun barrel on his back. some pieces snapped after i had put him together along the perforated lines so i had to use some glue to hold it together. Fun yes but time consuming

I wouldnt go as far as saying these are fun to put together. I put together Bandai kits regularly and those are fun. These are just frustrating.

I would really like to see a pic of Laserbeak. I have yet to put my Soundwave together.

I was trying to be optimistic about the fun part for everyone else lol. I don't think I have cursed that much putting together a model kit before
