Transformers Siege Astrotrain Released in Canada

1 Attachment(s)
Thanks to Matrix Holder Prime for letting us know that Siege Astrotrain has been released in Canada.

Astrotrain was sighted at a Toys”R”Us in Ontario.

Share your sightings in the Canadian Transformers Sightings forum.

Awesome, but these tiny leader prices are killing me. The difference between a deluxe and a Voyager is only $10, but the price difference between a Voyager and a leader is $30 (and the leaders and voyagers are similar in size).

He is pretty small, a small voyager scale figure. I recommend picking him up on sale if you can.

Holy shit, he really is tiny. Shockwave has similar issues. I wouldn't pay more than fifty for either.

Earthrise prime I'd still snag on, say, 20% off, but I can deal with the voyager figure cos it's prime with a bigass trailer.

Is Magnus really the only current leader that is big and makes sense at the size?

Even Magnus is pretty small when you compare him to the Combiner Wars Magnus. I mean, DNA Design has created an upgrade kit to make Seige Magnus taller.

It's really dumb how the price increases but the figures are only getting smaller.

The amount of plastic used and parts count are still comparable, if not more on the Siege figures. Put CW Magnus and Siege Magnus on a scale, they are very close. The toy may be smaller, but you are getting the same amount of toy.

Definitely can wait for him to go on sale, he'll be plentiful in the coming months since he'll be also released in the Earthrise line too.

True, and for galaxy prime and Magnus, fair. Good enough. Worth the ten bucks jump? Ehhh... Though it's less gross than deluxe cost.

Shockwave and astrotrain are Voyagers with extra plastic crap. :P

Astrotrain's Wavemate is Ultra Magnus so if you see him in store again odds are Astrotrain is or was there.

It tough right now to find him with the amount of Shockwaves and Ultra Ultra Magnus' still on the shelf (they usually prefer not to put out new figures if the old ones are still plentiful).

In the sightings, he's being reported in a fair amount.

I just got mine, but it was hiding on the top of the shelf which required a hockey stick to get it down.

Now I need Spinister to complete my Siege collection (unless I manage to find a Redwing, but he's not a must-have, and of course a Galactic Man as a fair price).

Not so much here in Alberta. He's been spotted in Calgary, but I've yet to see him here in Edmonton. At my local TRU, they have Shockwave and Ultra Magnus overstocked on the shelf (with no room for other newer leader figures).

Well.. mine has a missing piece so I am going to hope that they have another one...

@&*^@%#%$#^%#*&^%$(#

But considering how slow the Leaders started, and how they ended up being shelfwarmers... Let's hope they do it with him too.

That's sucks, you're already paying $70 for it and it's missing pieces. Gotta love Hasbro's shitty qc and poor distribution.

Yup.. that's why, with this sale I don't want to miss him.. I know that it took a long time for the Leaders to show up and end up shelfwarmers, but there's still several that have been hard to get, very hard. And disappeared rather fast.

The cassettes for example.. I barely seen them, so when I did, I got two sets of each (the only ones I did that for, but I worry that they might break easily, and one did but at least I was still able to exchange it to get my "spare").

And...I managed to get my replacement, this Astrotrain has all his wheels.
