Yeah, a few months late. :p

But at least we Canadians have something to talk about in September compared to most of the past 22 years.

I think this Blue Jays team has been 5 years in the making, ever since Bautista hit 54 HRs in 2010.

^ Considering all the teams this city has, NBA, NHL, MLB, MLS, and the CFL.

You'd figure one of them do well.

The Jays has had only 2 good years in the past 22, Leafs has had 1 playoff appearance in what, 9 or 10 years? I don't follow the other sports, but I know the Raptors last year had a decent year but got swept in the 1st round.

There's been little to cheer for in the past few years.

The possibility of a good playoff run is higher for this year's Jays than the previous years' playoff runs of the Raptors and Leafs.

Division lead over the Yanks now 5 games, and also atop the AL over KC by 1 game.

Been a long time coming since the team has reached these heights in late SEPT.
