Ages 3 and Up and the other online retailers really need to get on their suppliers asses. The whole reason I preorder and pay a bit of a markup is so A) I don't have to spend gas to go hunting and B) so I can GET FIGURES EARLIER. They're really dropping the ball when these figures are showing up at brick-and-mortar stores (and those brick-and-mortar stores' online stores) and still show no sign of showing up at any of the online retailers.

Then I would recomend you stop dealing with online vendors because that is now a thing of the past. I read about it a lot from american fans. Places like BBTS will always be behind. The only thing online retailers do is assure you eventually get the product. if that is worth the markup, then ok. But if you also need to be the one of the first to own the figure, then you will be frustrated. And it wont end since Walmart apparently has a deal with hasbro where they have priority on stock.

Well, if you want earlier releases, then buying from overseas vendors might be your only option (like Amazon Japan). But it also depends on the figures.
