I was in Florida for the past week (we lost two days due to delays... did you know the American customs at Pearson Intl. close at 9 PM?! Yeah we didn't until we landed late and had to wait something like FOUR HOURS in line to get rebooked... augh.

Anyway, second Walgreens I visit... BOOM! Last Brainstorm! So happy I got him! Since I got him and the voyager one I'm wondering if I shouldn't make it a goal of mine to eventually get his G1 self? Maybe if I go to TF Con one day...

20 US$ isn't cheap though, man...

Sorry I thought you meant what was the story in terms of my explanation leading into it :doh:. My apologies. As for the purchase I went into my local TRU with my wife last night and was trying to find anything new when Tankor was just sitting on the shelf so for fun I scanned the price and it read $.01 so I though it was a mistake and scanned again so I thought what the heck lemme try it. The lady scanned it at the register, asked me if I wanted a gift receipt and then she saw the price. She said that's a great deal, I said I know and had to pay with a gift card since paying a penny is near impossible. I'm 99% sure that this was sitting in the back room somewhere and because TRU's are getting ready for inventory they had to assign a dollar value to it but someone must have mistakenly put it out because they shouldn't have sold it but can't legally refuse

Last night I got TR Laserbeak, Wheelie, Hardhead and Chromedome.

Chromedome completely caught me off guard because I was there the day before to exchange a LeapStart my boys got for Christmas because the battery compartment wouldn't open and there were no signs of that wave whatsoever.

I managed to find Titans Return Six shot, Rodi music and Twin ferns yesterday at Walmart. I got Titans Return Megatron last week but one the wings for his jet mode was missing out of the box. So I have to return him and wait for more to show up.

Starting the year's collection-ing with an impulse buy of one I had no intentions of getting at all - TR Six Shot. Once I saw him in person, he was just too damn snazzy not to add to the gang.

Had that happened to me too. But it was MP Inferno and had some other stuff too. Shipped in late November and finally arrived yesterday. I was starting to get really worried. I'm just glad it didn't get lost.

Also got Bat Optimus Primal, though I waited to ship that till recently.

Anyways. I got:

- MP Inferno (finally)
- MP Optimus Primal monkey
- Legends Optimus Primal bat
- Legends Wheelie
- Metcolle Optimus Prime. I think... Don't remember why I got it.

Picked up TR Voy Optimus and Megatron.

And then I did the little switcheroo, popping Megatron's faceplate on Nucleon and giving him to Megatron.

The top of Galvatron's head now looks out of place with Doomshot's red thighs, but the mask thing's weirdness overpowers it so it works out.

Note: Nucleon and Doomshot have different sized screws.

technically not a purchase, made a trade with a friend and snagged the takara mp 10 complete mib that ive been after for years! and thats after just getting despotron last month! oh, the pair look soooo good on the shelf in epic combat.
