That is right folks! TRU has offended me and I will not take it anymore! :mad:

I am sick to death of walking up to their checkout with an armful of Transformers or other kewl things only to be asked if I want a gift receipt.

The NERVE!!!

The toys are mine and i am NEVER giving them back!! No, I don't want to do an exchange or in store credit or refund. No NO NO NO

lol.

In the past I lied to a particularly cute looking check out girl and said I need a gift receipt, I felt dirty after doing that and never ask for one now.

It's thier job to ask if you want one because they are ordered to and they shouldn't assume the toys are for you.

When they ask me I say "No," than half way through I say "Yeah can I get a gift receipt for the first and third one." Then when they say they can't with some excuse like "Our system doesn't work that way." I go into a rage blackout and wake up Animal Alley 3 or 4 hours later.

Actually, if they don't ask you, the cash register automatically prints the gift receipt. So they ask you so they can cancel it and waste less paper.

The clerk forgot to ask me and she gave me two receipts.
