Between Bulkhead and Arcee, it should be crystal clear now that Hasbro is not going for show accuracy in this line with the Prime characters. Knockout is supposedly the same story.


I guess show accuracy is just for shows up to the AEC trilogy. Anything after that and it is "fitting into the theme" nonsense.



Good for me since it makes for an easy pass.

I'm probably not as harsh as others. I'm looking forward to a new Bulkhead, for example, as that is a character in TF:A and Prime that has not had presence for awhile.

As for this Arcee, after watching a video review, I'm slightly more interested in this than before. I'm trying to minimize the duplication of characters in different molds in my CHUG collection, and I'm still happy with TR Arcee, but this can be a different robot with the same name "Arcee" the same as there are many people named "John" in the world. The personality is very different, after all. But she is the only one I haven't pre-ordered. I may wait for a sale since it seems less likely she will be scooped up by scalpers, both as a Wave 1 figure and a less desired figure by hardcore collectors, it seems.

It's OK if you don't have a previous version. I have first edition so this, and Bulkhead, are passes. But stunticons and insecticons I'm all in though the price increases hurt!
