Fall Of Cybertron Sludge (PX Neptune) Metallic Vers.
 

Hi everyone,

It's been awhile, but I'm back with another Fall of Cybertron (Planet X) custom, this time it's Sludge! Per the usual, I've redone the figure entirely with Citadel/Mr.Color metallic silvers, golds, blacks and reds. I tried to go with a hybrid scheme, homaging both the FoC material and a little bit of G1/IDW. Cheers :)

Sweet customs, man, definitely worth entering into a contest if you have the opportunity.

I hate to be the guy who says something negative, though, but it looks like your (drybrushing?) technique is highlighting the sprue lines. Its kinda ironic that all that hard work makes an inherent flaw more noticeable, but it can be eliminated with a couple minutes of filing prepwork.

I love PX stuff, but the one thing those Dinos were lacking was DEPTH.

Thanks for the warm words everyone, I really appreciate it :)

Ah crap, I know I was missing something. I usually sand mold lines when I'm painting my minis but I usually don't bother with TFs. Now that you've pointed it out I can definitely see it on Sludge's arms haha. I'll keep an eye out for this from now :) And no, there's nothing wrong with some constructive criticism, it makes me better at this xD

I'm thinking of TFcon this year, maybe I'll try to enter the Customization Contest!
