What kind of pin is in G1 Kup's shoulders?

Hello. I'm planning to disassemble a G1 Kup to try to reverse the yellowing on it, the main culprits being the arms. I have absolutely no experience with customising. What kind of pin/screw is used to hold his upper arms and the rotating bits together? How can I remove and replace them? Thanks!

they can't be removed, they're riveted in there.

Just use something to cover the metal like playdough, plastecene, wood glue, etc...
