Signal Lancer demo video: Signal Lancer demo

Perhaps you waited 5 years for this little guy, but finally, here he is. He sat out in the middle of the desert, and his only friend was a payphone! I have to give total credit to my awesome friend Zach of the boards for suggesting this incredible concept that many wished to see materialize, but never did. That's what WE do, right? http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/images/smilies/cool.gif

From what I was able to find, Signal Lancer was only named in the Galaxy Force series, but never officially named here in the U.S. The figure is based on the Cybertron Mudflap mold and heavily modified to accommodate his new format.

...So without further delay, I give you the obscure Autobot "Signal Lancer" from the Cyberton/Galaxy Force series! I fell in love with this concept as soon as I saw it, and knew it had to be done. There is VERY little info out there on this tiny hero, but I took what I could find on YouTube and TFWiki and ran with it.

Signal Lancer was roughly 40% scratch-built out of styrene sheet & tubing, ABS plastic, threaded rod, various electronics & rivets. There are waaaay too many mods to mention, but to name a few:

1 All 3 LEDs light up independently with seperate switches and batteries
2 The red LED can "flash" when the switch is reversed.
3 "Lance" and shield are scratch-built, and double as his post and base in alt-mode

Now on E-bay Custom Transformer Signal Lancer

Thanks man! This was based on the Cybertron "Mudflap" toy, which was a voyager-sized crane...about 9-1/2" long in crane mode & about 6" tall in bot mode. I would have to say the only other use for this figure would be for a Devastator custom. :D
