SND X-Mortis upgrade kit for Combiner Wars Battle core Optimus Prime
So, this has become my favorite figure this year so far. It took some work to put it together, but the end result has left me speechless. This version of Nova Prime is much nicer looking than the one by MMC or Maketoys. Highly recommend this if you want to do something with your CW Optimus (also the the SND Primo Vitalis upgrade kit for the regular CW Optimus Prime is also great --> I have this kit on the way).

This guy I work with knows that I'm into Transformers, so he brought these into the office. He's originally from Brazil and brought some toys when he came to Canada for his son.
I remember that someone at TFCon did a presentation on the history of toys around the world, so I think these were a Brazilian release. |

Lol, that's messed up. I'd run into the streets yelling "down with Hasbro", but everyone seems to buying up all the Shockwaves (myself included), so I guess people don't mind? :confused: |

The only way I can see this guy being leader class size wise is in full on alt mode so yeah it sucks $ wise but this is the best Shockwave for a CHUG collection so... |

I get the anger, but I don't get people acting like we hadn't been warned before hand.
My only problem with them deciding to go with a specific scale now is that Rodimus Prime now is too tall compared to UM. Shockwave could have a bit morebang for the buck, but I like the look of the sled/drone thing and plan on using that when I get him compared to the 4 arm look. |

Yeah, that's pretty dumb. I'm assuming they're going to rerelease all of the characters for this line, so we're probably going to get another Rodimus in the correct scale some time in the future. |

Sure is! Here he is with my "Work in Progress" G1 Prime
My only gripe so far is the front to back leg articulation at the waist is compromised when he's posed like in the photo.

Thanks. In the message editor are you using the "insert image" button? What image host are you using?
I used to use Photobucket, but I've switched to Imgbox...so far I find the new host pretty sweet... |
