Seeker Stand for Earthrise Seekers? Need Help Pls
 

Hi Guys,
I need stands for my earthrise seekers.

I'd like to get ones that just have one port that you can plug into the underbelly of the jet instead of the stands that have 3 prongs where you have to use one to support the nosecone.

Similar to what they did with the MP seeker stand.


What do you recommend (pics/ links greatly appreciated)

And where do you buy them from?

Also if you have any for sale and are GTA local let me know.

They’re great for legends class, deluxe and voyagers like the seekers. T30 Springer, etc. Siege Ultra Magnus For example might be a little too heavy. Would need to test.

I think they’re great. They were 20$ when I bought them and the box came with three stands. Now I’m not sure how many Comes in a box nowadays. Bought some Chinese knock offs (pack of 2) and while they’re okay, they’re not as solid.

They come with pegs to plug in the back of the figure, and two types of pincer holders. Three of each.

Wish I had a decent flight stand for Skyfire, though.

EDIT: Added Earthrise Starscream. And wow, that's a dusty screen.

The hinges on the genuine Bandai stands are strong and stiff enough to hold seekers, but it like anything it might not work great if the weight isn't distributed. For example the Siege Seeker is almost too front heavy. It holds but I wouldn't trust it. Earthrise seekers have their port in the middle of the weight distribution so it balances great. It also comes with a little extension but balancing figures is trickier because the extension applies extra leverage/torque/whatever against the bottom hinge so it'll hold weight a little less. I used all of the extensions to hold CW Cosmos up in the air which was fun.

Someone on Radicons has a cradle to hold Earthrise seekers. You can try asking for the 3D model to print it locally, since even if he offered to print and mail some to you it'd probably be nuts to ship across the border.

I've been using Bandai stands and cheapo Aliexpress stands with my seekers, and both are fine.

I'm started to just make my own.

Just a small plexiglass (acrylic) piece, cut it right, drill a 3 mm-ish hole and a nail that is about the right size (but smaller.. something like 2.75mm), epoxy it together, and put a put of epoxy on that nail to create a layer (if too much, it's epoxy so you can file it down) .

This thing can support just about anything now. and is about 12 inch high. I'll probably do others that are not as high.

I'll probably do some that can be taken apart to store if needed, it'll just take a few extra pieces that I'll make "snap" together.

But I have several "cheap" that have both the 3mm pin or "claw".. and they've been fine for most. just a bit wobbly and take a bit of patience to set them "just right".

I have these also. They are great. You can find them a lot cheaper on hlj, $11 for 2 plus shipping. I find hlj shipping to be really fast and not that expensive.

Just search tamashii stand and you will find them.
