Soul of Chogokin Golion/Voltron Availability in Retails, Etc.?
 

From one of those youtube reviews I have seen a sleeve with US Voltron box arts for the US (and Canada?) market. However, no one has mentioned where or when it will be released in retails such as TRU.

Is it just a web e-tailers only? Or will it be available in retails like TRU? And, if I ordered one from, say BBTS or Automaton, do I get one in the aforementioned US packaging?

(So, yes, I know I should have pre-ordered online earlier on the web from amiami, etc. but I missed my boat so I really want to know what is Bandai plan for the US/Canada)

The only difference between the North American one and the Japanese one is the slipcover. The contents of both packages will be the exact same. So if you take off the slipcover, it will be in a Japanese box.

This is only available from Bluefin distributors in NA. So BBTS, Amazon.com etc. Japanese version seems to go for about $250 USD while the US one is around $300.

I haven't seen anyone in Canada stocking this. I ordered mine from HLJ. I assume when it is released in late December a lot of the Japanese etailers will have it back in stock.

Anyone looking at the Ultimate Ex Voltron from Toynami? 16 inches vs 10 inches.
