MMC

Are Mastermind Creations typically so late or has there been some kind of shipping/port issue in getting stuff from overseas?

Haven't heard anything from Automaton all month concerning my pre-order for Not Solus Prime and was just wondering if there was something I was out of the loop on. Never bought any MMC stuff before.

3rd party companies release dates are usually estimations at best.

Salvia was pushed back to april (or so rumor seems to indicate) and 3P companies I guess just don't generally believe in communicating these issues. etailers seem to follow suit.

Pushed back to April... Well I guess that means Star Saber will be paid for first. Unless that MP is pushed back too from March to April or something.

Star Saber's official release date is March 15th in Japan. I guess it depends when the Automaton stock comes in if you are getting both together or only SS for now. They both may just arrive at the same time in stock for you if all works well.

There is a huge issue with shipping ports on the western coast of the U.S. They have a backlog of a couple of months because of a dispute with the Unions. It has effected a lot of release dates for comics including the IDW teansformer comics, several board games, and many different stores products.

I fail to see how that affects Canadian sellers, I mean don't we have our own ports??? Forgive me if I am mistaken on this.

When US ports get backlogged the extra gets diverted to ports like Vancouver, increasing THEIR work load and slowing down the work...

And THEN the CP got into a strike recently, further slowing down distributions...

AND I believe there was also problems in the docks of Hong Kong? (And there was Chinese New Year to boot).

Anyway it's a whole big mess.

Forgot about that. My brother works for CP... I'm afraid that wasn't much of a strike, even if it did still slow everything down.

Re: MMC

The port issue was resolved a couple days ago but that has nothing to do with a product that hasn't been released at all yet.
