Difference between orininal vs. ko cassettes
 

I'm wondering how you can easily tell them apart. I'm specifically looking to know how to tell G1 Rumble and Ratbat from their KO counterparts. Please give me as many specific details as possible. I've never handled these cassettes before so I don't know what to look for. I'm pretty sure every G1 cassette had some die cast in it. Thanks.

I think the KO cassettes also have die-cast.

I have the Ko's from A3U of Ratbat and Frenzy....er.....Rumble.....er....Frenzy. The quality is quite good but the decals are inferior to what I remember of their G1 counterparts. Ratbat's ears are a little loose as well. I would highly recommend them though. Once you get the decals on correctly they pass as G1 without a close look, for a lot less money than the G1's would cost.

The rumble / frenzy kos don't have any diecast in the shoulders.

Thanks guys. I'm also assuming the plastic is of cheaper quality and easily noticeable?

If the colours are off, definitely, but some of the knockoffs are actually pretty good quality.
