Here is a question for all about ordering online and COVID-19
 

My question is "Is anyone having problems with ordering from Amazon.ca or any other online stores, I have amazon prime and I ordered a siege soundwave with two days shipping but it seems to be sitting at being shipped and yes I do understand the the COVID -19 has everything at a stand still but if this is the way things are going to be then tf collecting will stop being fun. anyone have thoughts?

Yeah, having the same problems myself. Their reasoning behind the delays is that they're focused on shipping essential items before all other orders.

I think that's odd because I tried shipping a food related item and they gave me a delivery date almost one month away.

yup i ordered a battery for my cordless vacuum and it just shipped after about a week since i placed to order

Its all over the place, still waiting on a microwave at the lowes for my inlaws since their old one died this past weekend.

on the other hand I order some bluetooth headphones from amazon, and they came in 2 day prime .... so go figure

Yeah I agree that they're all over the place. I don't have Prime, but they told me something would be arriving next week, and I got it next day. Other things I've been waiting over a week.

Amazon took their extra crazy pills to get through this. Until just recently everything was still listed as arriving in 2 days, then they finally got more realistic with their promises. But it’s still a grab bag of maybe maybes. Took a week longer to get the Power Rangers I recently ordered, but the cake decorating supplies that were supposed to take a week literally came the day after we ordered them. If you need to order online, my best advise is order as early as possible and just hope for the best. Good luck.

I think YMMV. I don't have Amazon Prime, and I ordered Persona 5 Royal on release day with standard (free) shipping. It shipped pretty much right away and it was in my hands a few days later -- in fact, a day earlier than estimated.

Sorry I don't get your final point.

Are you saying Covid-19 is making TF collecting less fun, or that you can't get something you ordered from Amazon in 2 days is making it less fun?

Most items that are deemed non-essential say the new estimated arrival date, which is sometime in May now. That being said, it fully depends on what warehouse it's coming from. I ordered two things a day apart, one shipped in under a week, the other still hasn't shipped. Both had a May delivery date.

Everything everywhere is disrupted. Shipping volume with carriers are also at a record high so delays are happening on that level too.

- Ordered DnA grand max set from China in late Feb, still not here.
- Ordered Rung in early March from Japan, still not here.
- Ordered hand sanitizer from walmart.ca last Friday and it will arrive the next Friday.
- Preorderd Ectotron in Dec 2019 and it still hasn't arrived at the retailer yet.
- Bought a single Prime Master w/o packaging from a board member who lives about 100km away and who sent it in a regular letter envelope and it got here in almost 2 weeks.
- Face masks from Quebec took a week.

On the other hand I ordered an Oz of non-gov weed from TO and it got here next business day.
