Dumb question about parts parties
 

Are these things generally G1 stuff only?

There's a few staggered items from Combiner Wars I'm looking for, but the best "parts guy" on the con floor seems to only ever have bins of G1 accessories

What pieces are you looking for? There’s a decent chance someone scrolling through the threads might have what you need.

I think the main source for parts are from toys that have been beaten to a pulp by kids and the Prime Wars toys are a bit too new for that. I ran across one lot like that this year and after salvaging what I needed the remaining were posted on my sales list and sold out fairly quickly.

That's usually the way to go. I put the parts I need on my want list.

The Americans over at TFW2005.com have a pretty lively parts/junkyard trade, I guess from the sheer size of the population. Many of the parts I had were sold to Americans. A number of them are also trying to figure out cheap ways to get parts to us.

Need a spare CW Prowl white shotgun (though Streetwise/Smokescreen's shotgun would do in a pinch I suppose)

Got to replace one of G2 Bruticus' Banana-slaught guns
Not at home right now, but would be the one that goes in his left hand
I figure a HotSpot gun would work just as well, I think they are both black plastic (unless one is painted?)

Need the red projectile for CW Megatron's tank barrel/fusion cannon

On an extremely unlikely note, I need the black "jaws of life" pinchy tool that comes with the Tarantulas from the Botcon 2016 Dawn of the Predacus set
Would rather not resort to painting one of Rook's, but

Also the plastic insert from the G2 Bruticus boxset
