I wish they would just outright give a picture of what they wish to present. This partial shadow and ghost image stuff is starting to bug me.

^^ ya i totally agree, they should just let us see it and let us decide whether or not we want it. blacking it out gets people interested initially, then when its not what they expect people just start getting annoyed

Honestly, the blackout looks like photoshop. There is no actual parts being blacked out, and its just made up! Thats what I think, after carefully looking at it.

Exactly what I was thinking. All these people have right now is an idea. Not even a well thought out one at that. Just, "we want to make an armor upgrade kit for an Ultra Magnus toy because that's how FansProject got all rich and famous and respected and we want to be FansProject". Which is seems to be motto of most of these out-of-nowhere third party companies. FansProject wanna-be's. It looks like they just wanted to stick their flag in the sand before anyone else could call "dibs" on this tremendously original idea of theirs.

The only good thing I could possibly say about this is that I like the way they positioned the pipes because it reminds me of Magnaboss. It gives me ideas for a pre-BW Magnaboss custom.

I don't know right now, this preview release is not doing nothing for me. Not getting any warm and fuzzy feelings in my scraplets

I was certainly more excited about FP Code x1 blackout.

Yes, just looks like another Third Party trying to cash in. Searched online could not find out anything about this company.

Will have to wait to see final images, Might make magnus look better with the shoulder rises, wounder what their costs will be?

I have to say. After studying the silhouettes, if these are real, the design is really bad, based on that alone. The ball joint ankles, and tiny elbow joints make this a joke of a design. Just looking at it, they should be able to beef up the armored limbs. When you make an armor, the focus should be on the actual armor mode first. The trailer mode can come last, in my opinion, since you can make it look what ever way necessary to conform with the robot mode. I don't get why they'd even bother with a ball joint foot. They could of made the feet bigger with a better joint that won't flop eventually.

I was planning to try my hand at an armor, and I definitely had ideas that surpassed what these guys are showing. Hopefully, if its real, this is just an actual teaser, and the final product is very different.

Will pi k up if its a reasonable price. Looks pretty slick, really picks up Hasbro s attempt at a generations magnus.

If it comes with the japenese FOC Utra Magnus metallic blue. It may look not bad on the japanese version. I have to see it in the actual color first before I judge though.

Interesting but highly skeptical. I said recently that I would like a more game accurate FOC Optimus than what was released, but this doesn't look like it is that. This looks like a cash in because FP had success with their stuff.

Doesn't help that they have the FOC deluxe as their base and this being their first release. I don't see a bright future ahead.

So looks like the black out image was of the CAD design. The photos show some improvements, like a bigger elbow joint. The feet joint still scares me. I can see some people having the problem where it won't stand with out support.

If they do a Diaclone Powered Convoy repaint, I'm in for sure. And atleast metallic versions for the Takara releases. :D

Update:
Just saw on facebook they revealed the base mode for the trailer. Man, that is very underwhelming. Consider how big the trailer is, they could of made something much nicer which opened up. The opening panels with pop out arms is very limiting. Something like the G1 trailer's base, or maybe G2 Laser Prime's base would be cooler, and make a better display piece.

They could of also tried and made a simple God Bomber out of it, which in turn made an additional set of armor.

Up for preorder at BBTS for a whopping $170.00,???? wow...um I don't think I'll be picking one of those up now. I may have considered it at about $130 but not $170. I wont even entertain the thought of it now until I see some reviews of this thing first. Way to much for a FOC Magnus trailer.

The piece itself is going to cost roughly about $150-160 shipped depending on who you got to. Not sure why people still look at BBTS to purchase stuff when they're normally higher and their shipping is mildly f*cked with customs etc. But meh have at it.

I also wish something plugged into the Magnus feet to cover up the emptiness on the front thighs. I'm sure it'll look better once more pics surface, but still. Its gonna be hard to justify spending 170+shipping for this. :(

I considered buying the over priced deluxe for this armour. But now that I see this costs double what I thought it would...hasbro can keep their underwhelming expensive toy and whatchamacallit can keep their insanely priced add on kit.
