No doubt The Federations Starships look much cleaner than those in Star Wars.

But to make a distinction, The Federation ships are shown in a time where conflicts are generally short border scuffles between a couple of ships at a time while most of there vessels are used for exploration.

On the flipside, the Star Wars galaxy has been embroiled in a galaxy spanning conflict for almost 30 years by the time of Episode VI. Just try to keep your ship clean and shiney when your bases are being bombed every other week and you're so low and resources that you have to cannibalize some vehicles to repair others. Not to mention that a majority of the Rebellion's ships were converted star liners (cruise ships).

It's a moot point because neither universe actually exists, but it make us wonder what the Federation's ships would look like if they were in a decades long civil-war.

Nice pic, and i am curious to know what version is that of the new Enterprise is that on the bottom right?, not the playmates toy but the other. I have the Diamond Ent D and its awesome, also have the Bandai TMP Enterprise,Ent E and Voyager..wish Diamond would hurry up and release the Bird of Prey and the Excelsior, my favorite Federation battle cruiser.

Is that Blu Ray Ex long sold out?, i bet it is but i shall take a look on their site.

Nice pic, they really went all out with the D and i don't mind the missing windows on the neck of the ship.

as far as I know, it was sold out a couple weeks after the movie was released on video.
