Volcanicus is a special redeco of the Power Of The Primes Dinobots in cartoon accurate colors plus new feet and hands, two Magma swords, and a new extra weapon for Grimlock. But, but, but... An extra gun for Grimlock and new feet/hands!!!!

Apparently they fixed the joints to make him more solid and able to hold weapons/poses.

Don't know if it matters as much now with SS86 Dinobots on the way.

Sure, then what are you going to do your old one?
Still I suggest buying the KO oversize one, much better... skip though if you want G1 accurate for Grimlock.
