for those that have the then and now set..
The g1 grimlock could transform and combine? with something else? Does anyone know? There's this giant head in the body which I have no clue what is it for.

Not really, they're using the energon mold instead of the original G1 mold even the package shows 1984 and G1 Grimlocks image.

I do need both molds for my grimlock collection, might have to try to find one tomorrow.

Edit: Just looked at the flyer, looks like the deal starts 10pm Friday.
