Good time to start arranging Deals?
 

Hey Guys,

One of the best things about TFcon for me is pre-arranging deals with members on the boards to trade / sell stuff.

In your opinion when is a good time to start arranging that? Obviously you don't want to do it months before, but what is the the sweet spot? One month before (June)? Now (May)?

Just looking for opinions. Need to get my stuff ready for trades :)

I've already started making deals for TFCON- Both Selling and Buying=;)
From past experience, you'll find once you start posting things for sale in June you're gonna get offers.
Also since members from afar are visiting for TFCON and are willing to spend, you should get even more deals than usual=:)

Posted my list yesterday, and I already have three deals pending. Love this part. Looking and finding great deals.

I think mid June is a good starting point - if you have someone asking to hold check their feedbacks as some ppl ask to hold and than find cheaper once in the deal rooms and/or feel free to ask the potential buyer to pay upfront so this way you have a secured transaction. Keep in mind that your feedbacks needs to be just as stellar if you want someone to hold for you!! #catch22!! Good Luck!!

So it seems early June is the sweet spot to work out deals. Went from having 1 to now having 8 transactions (Buy, Sell & Trade) to complete at TFcon.

Got what I wanted. This leaves me Free to wander the con floor browsing for other items....Love it!
