TFcon comic timeline

Hello, does anybody knows or have some insight on what happens between the tfcon comics? because some of the comics seems to start on an interesting topic, then we start another comic with little to no link between them.

Hey Sirferom

I try my best to tell a story with the 6-8 pages of fiction injection we get a year combined with the tech specs to give everyone a story of said characters and an over all continuity.

More or less, we have Anarchy who was TFcon's first exclusive back in 2006, an all shiny purple Hard Heroes bust repaint of Cyclonus.

He is them god-like character similar to Loki of the Thor mythos in that he just enjoys playing with the lives of Transformers over the multiverse instead of getting directly involved.

All comics are actually based within the strict timelines of the canon fiction by Hasbro/Takara and I obsess over that.

TFcon 2010
The Nightbird story happens during G1 Japan's run of Headmasters, she gets in, she gets upgraded, she gets out. Anarchy also makes his fictional debut here too as well as all the past TFcon exclusives up to that point make a cameo

TFcon 2011
This story is a prequel to the Headmasters series in Japan (also 2011 was the year Headmasters happened in the canon of G1 Japan). It tells the story of Scorponok/Zarak and his crews breaking out of prison from planet Master. This also introduces the popular character Toxin to the fiction (which would even make a cameo in the IDW comics).

The following year it was decided bring this all together under one banner. Thus the TFcon ongoing fiction was born and with that year came the following comic

TFcon 2012
The Shafter book introduced the concept that indeed Anarchy was a dark god pulling heroes and villains from there respective continuities and throwing them into all kinds of trouble. Up to that point you had

TFcon 2006 Anarchy - Timeline not given at the moment (SECRET ^_^)
TFcon 2007 G2 Flamethrower - G2 Japan Timeline
TFcon 2009 Powered Commander - G1 Pre-Great War
TFcon 2009 Custom Class Rev - Car Robots Timeline (G1 2000)
TFcon 2010 Nightbird - G1 Japan Headmasters
TFcon 2010 Custom Class UK Flash - G1 Operation Combination
TFcon 2011 Stronghold - G1 Japan Pre-Headmasters
TFcon 2011 Toxin - G1 Japan Pre-Headmasters
TFcon 2011 PE-X Camera - G1 Japan Pre-Headmasters
TFcon 2011 Custom Class Downshift - G1 Headmasters

They were all thrown pulled from their continuities into these timeline travelling stories.

With this 2012 book we were in the Masterforce G1 Japan timeline, Garrison (aka Grand Maximus), landing on Earth JUST before he is suppose to meet Ginrai to give him the Godbomber project (as seen in the Masterforce anime).

Introduced in this book as well as the exclusives that year
TFcon 2012 Shafter - G1 Japan Masterforce
TFcon 2012 Garrison - G1 Japan Masterforce
TFcon 2012 Shadow Bat - G1 Japan Masterforce
TFcon 2012 Custom Class UK Hurricane - G1 Operation Combination

With this book the concept of people from different times gathering together became canon as well as some old faces seeing each other (Note Stronghold point to Garrison, they are brothers but from different times in their lives)

The book ends with all the Autobot related crew meeting up together.

TFcon 2013
Celebrating 30 years of Gobots, and with Hasbro getting the rights to Tonka, Gobots became a part of the TF continuity officially back in 2001 when Hasbro started to use their characters in cameos, in name and what not.

I played off of some official canon used by both Gobots and what Botcon did to weave what this book told. Introduced in that book

TFcon 2013 Vanguardian - Gobots Post-TV series
TFcon 2013 Roswell - Gobots Post-TV series
TFcon 2013 Prototype X - G1 Japan Headmasters
TFcon 2013 Project Z - G1 Japan Headmasters
TFcon 2013 Custom Class Decepticharge - G1 Japan Kissplayers

The story was more or less covering what will happen to the Gobots and their continuity and teases at why their timeline got destroyed (again pulling from the Botcon 2007 fiction that touched on it). At the end of the book we see that Anarchy also assembled all the baddies up to this point together.

I also had a side-fiction story that was going to explain Decepticharge, how he got that body and where he came from....... one day it will be published.

TFcon 2014
This story continues what Shafter has been up to at that point. He went from a his original G1 Minibot body (Masterforce), to Micromaster (Victory), to normal sized bot body, in this Transformers Zone timeline inspired story (which also brings in the Action Masters from the USA side of fiction that was also happening at the same time)

TFcon 2014 Masterpiece Shafter - G1 Japan Zone
TFcon 2014 Masterpiece Axis - G1 Japan Zone
TFcon 2014 Pestilence - G1 Japan Zone

I would like to talk more about it but the next TFcon exclusive and his story will be told soon come TFcon 2014 Chicago USA.

Any other questions?

thks protoman it answers a lot while it gives me much more wonder. Are the tfcon prequel comics in this timeline too? TFcon 2014 Chicago USA, will there be another exclusive comic? and you talk about a side story about decepticharge, will it be published in a tfcon comic or other mean? (sorry about all those question but i'm trying to reunite most possible material possible to have the most G1 complete timeline (i know tfcon is not official but i like to include it in my canon))

Re: TFcon comic timeline

oups i meant tfcon prelude comics,
i have this one for exemple but i know there are others
http://www.cybertron.ca/boards/showthread.php?t=48538

and cant wait for decepticharge, i think kissplayer deserves a better representation than what it had previously. And out of curiosity, will the story progress in battlestars and to other less explored timelines before beast wars?

Oh the Script Reading and their comics.

Those are one shot stuff just for the fans and the voice actors, not related to the canon of TFcon itself. All in good fun. (Written by either JLvatron or Decepticon Army)
