Posted this on TFW but since it's Canadian in origin it SHOULD be here.

So got the new Toys R Us flyer in the mail (December 2nd 2011 to December 8th 2011). Business as usual, but what I saw in the Star Wars section blew my MIND.

How the hell does Toys R Us mess up and put 2 random 14 year old, 1998 Beast Wars Transmetal 2 TOYS (Hell they ain't even transformed correctly). Needless to say I was laughing my ass off.

I wonder if I could go in and DEMAND I have these 2 toys in the flyer. MOC TM2 Cheetor NOW!!!! (On special for $7.97 CANADIAN too!)

I think this was originally suppose to be the Star Wars Transformers Scouts Class toys, but they didn't exactly put Anakin/Obi Wan/Grevious =/

Wow, cool find! Doubt you could get them to give you those specific toys. But very funny! Wonder how it happened? Would love to know the story behind it.

stupid graphic designers not knowing anything - thats what happened:P probably a rush job -they grabbed a bunch of old stock photos and slapped them on.

Not the graphic designers fault, it's whoever signed off the proofs fault.

Man, I've dreamed of walking into TRU and picking up some old BW figures. I wish that dream would become a reality. Where's my BW 15th Anniversary line Hasbro?!:argh:

I would go in and ask for the figures pictured. Worth a try at least. Who knows? Maybe they have some old Beasties in the backroom somewhere collecting dust.
